Here at Osage Hills Retreat, we’ve taken some of your mental load by thinking of the smaller details so you can focus on what is important: a stress-free, creatively fulfilling, getaway with your creative circle. We have everything you need to make your craft getaway enjoyable and successful.
When you want to take a break from making, there’s a fully equipped kitchen to fill your bellies, a lovely walking trail to connect with nature, a saltwater pool, and a jetted tub to relax your bones. There’s even a firepit to warm your spirits and toast some s’mores. All on eleven sprawling acres of Oklahoma heaven.
We make it easy with our simple scheduling, amenities galore, easy access to all the modern conveniences and the beauty of nature that surrounds us. What are you gals waiting for?
Want to take a day trip during your retreat getaway? We are centrally located to an abundance of attractions: Skiatook Lake, Tulsa’s Cherry Street, Woolaroc, and the Osage Casino are all a stone’s throw away. For you Pioneer Woman fans, how about a trip to the Mercantile? You can spend an afternoon in Pawhuska, shop at your leisure and grab a bite to eat, too.

As a scrapbooker and quilter myself, I understand the value of space to gather my gals on a regular basis. I know it’s not always easy to make time for our creative souls. Life gets busy. Things happen. Sometimes, you must step away from the day-to-day, and make you the priority.
Studies have shown that crafting is good for our mental health
Crafting reduces stress, boosts our mood, improves cognitive function, helps us focus and be more mindful. It grants us a sense of purpose and community. Now, consider how these benefits may be exponentially improved by being in a special space, doing this all with your creative circle. We have the workspaces, the equipment, the tools, even the Keurig in the kitchen for your caffeine fixes, and snacks for that afternoon energy boost. Heck, we even have wine glasses for when you want to kick back, relax, and let loose. It’s the best of both worlds. Nurturing yourself and each other.

Melissa is a great host! Absolutely lovely, top-notch home with a ton of amenities…even a gorgeous pool. The surrounding wooded area makes a beautiful view outside the double doors and big windows of the retreat center. Melissa has supplied the quilters/crafters with 8 (6-foot) tables, 2 ironing stations, a cutting station with mat on each table, very comfortable chairs, design walls all around the room, and a large kitchen to make meals. Very clean and comfortable! There is a great fabric store minutes away in town.
I spent my first day at the retreat center and with the owner Melissa and both were warm and welcoming. The location is s0000 beautiful and the drive in was magical with so much beauty to look at. It is so peaceful and quiet and makes the perfect getaway spot for a small family gathering or just a get away with your girlfriends. You will not be disappointed to make this a getaway destination. Small enough to maintain its charm for your intimate gatherings or for a retreat to create away.
What a wonderful experience! The home alone is absolutely gorgeous, you arrive with so many small thoughtful amenities to make your stay a little extra special. Melissa and her husband are absolutely adorable and are so sweet and attentive during your stay with them. They will even host a delicious s’mores evening by the pool. It really feels like you are part of the family while you’re visiting, between the laughs, crazy events and overall bonding experience you walk away with. This is the perfect place to have your perfect crafting retreat, whether with your closest friends or creating new friendships with a fresh group experience.
